HIGH SCHOOL Lecture Series

 
In its High School Lecture Series, the 2003 fourth quarter rounded off with 8 High Schools lined up to benefit before Christmas. Beginning with Lagos Anglican Girls Sec. School, Surulere on Tuesday, November 4, 2003 and rounding up with Queens College, Yaba on Friday, November 21, 2003, the topic of the lecture in this segment of the series was: High School Youth -PRESSURE WITHIN AND WITH-OUT.

Altogether, about 8,000 students in 8 Senior Secondary Schools attend the lectures. While the SS3 students were the target-group for that quarter, the 1st and 2nd quarter of 2004 is planned looking at the SS1 & 2 students and a different approach lined up for the Junior classes.

These lectures are purely a private initiative of FAI. Our joy and fulfilment, as a body of volunteers is seeing that we have been able to contribute our bit to breeding a better crop of tomorrow’s leaders.
