FAMILY PORCH, a 30 Minute, serialized family program is designed to run weekly on TV. It is a Talk Show complete with pre-recorded case visuals and sometimes drama clips and looks at
total family issues. It will counsel
adults, married or un-married as well as our young upcoming ones on family related issues preparing them for tomorrow. Production of the pre-recorded bits started recently in
  Lagos with an array of professionals in the industry taking part both on-screen and behind the screen. Femi Brainard, a well known face both on TV and in the Nigerian home video industry  plays Kolade, (his Mom, played by Cassandra Odita pronounces that Kwalade) his  wife, Morenike, a working class housewife burning a whole lot of energy on her career to the detriment of her home is played by Helen Michael, another popular face in the industry. This episode is titled THE WAIT and it is a true to life story of a couple who's been married over 5 years without the fruit of the womb which in the African culture is a big issue. In this case, several medical tests have revealed it is a problem with Kolade and unknown to his Mom, she's become so impatient insisting he takes another wife. This, obviously can't be a pleasant experience for Morenike who's been pressured to a breaking point but determined to make her marriage work as well as stand by her husband. At this point, Morenike returns home pretty late from work and Kolade believes she's having an affair, a fresh problem. Stay with this page for details soon.
