Counseling Centre
The Families ALIVE Counseling Centre, already has its hub in Lagos; with a node each in Port Harcourt and Ileoluji to complement the efforts of the wider TV outreach. Each of these centres will be equipped to do a one-on-one counseling, teaching sessions for medium group, and a 24 hour telephone help/counseling line. With time, all three Centers, sooner than later will run 24 hours. In this regard, volunteers and other qualified and spirit-led folks who are genuinely burdened are welcome as partners, to jointly meet with these needs. Together, we shall be meeting the needs of children, adults and families in and out of crisis. It would be a great privilege to join hands and bring the smiles back on the faces of otherwise aching hearts.

Family Support Unit
As a by-product, each Counseling Centre is to run a welfare program under the umbrella of what is known as Family Support Unit. The FSU is to care essentially for the needs of families really lacking. It has the responsibility to provide welfare for these families. These will go from the basics of life such as food, clothing and then onto shelter, empowerment, employment and so on. Beyond providing immediate meals, FSU shall go further to identify the best ways in each case to empower the woman or mother of the individual family in becoming self-dependent. Our Women Empowerment program shall involve the following steps:

• Identify Training Needs

• Facilitate Training, (including industrial)

• Equip where possible or

• Help facilitate soft loans

Facilities at the Information Centre, especially the Internet services shall form essential parts of training in our Women Empowerment programs.
