Honorable
Damishi Tonson Sango has continued to win our hearts here at Families ALIVE
Int. as we watch with keen interest, unfolding events in the
political terrain of Nigeria, especially as new political leaders take
their oaths of office nationwide. Not bitter about his inability to
win the gubernatorial elections of Plateau State 19 April, 2003,
instead, he was quick to offer his goodwill messages and
congratulations to the winning candidate and philosophically accepting
his defeat. As the President and 36 Governors are sworn-in, Sango is
seen celebrating the triumph of democracy in Nigeria, claiming it is
an evidence that indeed, Nigerians have accepted democracy as their
choice of government, and a good omen. Damishi Sango then offers that
leaders should endeavor to deliver the dividends of democracy to
Nigerians stressing that the development and progress of the country
should be on their front burners; trusting that these crops of
political leaders would deliver the goods. WHAT A MAN!
